Adult Classes 

Adult dance classes are offered in Ballet, Pointe and Jazz with ad-hoc Ballet Fitness and Conditioning classes often running. Six week beginners courses are also held throughout the year for novices. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions most classes are offered online. These classes have been set up for those who still need to take class while at home.


Whether you want to learn a new skill, want to dance for fun, health and social benefits or want to continue to develop skills learnt in childhood, these classes are for you.

Adult dancers are offered the opportunity to take part in the whole school show should they wish.

Classes are suitable for Beginners to Advanced Dancers. 

You don't have to be extremely flexible, extremely strong or extremely anything to join a dance class...

... You just have to be you and you just have to want to dance.

Adult classes £6.00 per class.


All adult classes are pay as you feel. If you find yourself in a position where you are unable to pay, please still join the class anyway.

 Classes and Booking

Studio classes - Government guidelines have allowed studios to re-open from the end of July. Throughout August ONE MIXED LEVEL adult Ballet class will be offered until a full timetable resumes in September. Due to social distancing, places are limited to 10 participants. Booking opens at 10am on each Monday. 

Online classes - These classes are real time meetings. Participants will need access to a device with a working camera/webcam. More information will be given in the booking confirmation along with guidance on how to set up and get ready for the class. Below is a schedule of classes for adults.


Online Adult Ballet Fitness and Conditioning

Wednesdays 6.30-7.15pm

Based on Ballet moves, this class is a fantastic workout for dancers and non dancers alike. Exercises are taken at the Barre, in the centre and on the mat and guaranteed to give a great, full body workout targeting areas to improve and strengthen ballet technique. It is low impact but high energy!

2nd September


Online Adult Pointe

Wednesdays 7.20-8.05pm 

Suitable for experienced dancers who are already en pointe. This 45 minute class will work on pointe technique along with exercises to strengthen the feet, legs and core. The class will start with a thorough, full body warm up followed by a specific foot warm up before moving onto pointe barre exercises.

2nd September

Two Young Ballerinas

Online Adult Ballet Mixed Level 

Thursdays 6.15-7.00pm

While we are online, this is a MIXED LEVEL class for those who are not able to return to the studio yet. This class is suitable for Beginners with a little experience and more advanced dancers will be given adapted exercises to work on strengthening technique.. Most exercises will be barre based with one or two combinations in the centre. 

3rd September


Studio Based Adult Ballet Mixed Level 

Thursdays 7.30-8.30pm

Throughout August, this will be a MIXED LEVEL class for those who would like to attend a face to face class in the studio with social distancing in place. This class is suitable for Beginners with a little experience and more advanced dancers will be given adapted exercises to work on strengthening technique. Most exercises will be barre based with one or two combinations in the centre. Spaces are limited to 10. Booking for this class is released at 10am each Monday and will close once the places have been filled. A waiting list is available if you do not manage to get one of the spaces - contact Full COVID-19 procedures and payment details are given in the booking confirmation email. Classes are £6 - full payment should be made upon booking to secure your space.

Online Adult Jazz Mixed Level

Adult Jazz class is an energetic dance style which is the best way to get a sweat up & have some fun at the same time!  The class focuses on enjoyment, gives you the opportunity to perform for fun and most importantly enables you to achieve an all over workout simply by dancing. Adult Jazz is suitable for people of all ages and no experience is required.  The class consists of a warm up then we work on different routines approx every three weeks from lyrical, to theatre jazz.
