Deborah Hoskins ISTD DDE
I started dancing when I was 5 years old at the Willow Tree Centre of Dance and Performing Arts in Devon. My love of dance took an exciting turn when I was offered a scholarship to attend the Urdang Academy full-time lower school in London at the age of 14. Continuing into the upper school, I received professional training for 5 years in the heart of Covent Garden studying Classical Ballet, Contemporary (Graham, Release and Cunningham), Tap, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Street Jazz, Pas de Deux and Musical Theatre; all taught by some of the most prestigious choreographers, teachers and directors in the industry.
My passion for teaching started 8 years ago and since then I have been teaching in London, passing on my knowledge and enthusiasm to students from 3 years to adult in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and GCSE Dance units. I frequently enhance my continuing professional development with a particular interest in dance science, anatomy and kinesiology.
I am a qualified dance teacher and member with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing)
